The first Guadalupe County Courthouse was designed by Frank Ogden and John C. Hill and built in 1891. The sandstone building in Puerto de Luna served as the Guadalupe County Courthouse until 1903, when the county seat moved to Santa Rosa. Remnants of the original structure still stand in Puerto de Luna. The Guadalupe County Courthouse located in Santa Rosa was completed in 1909 and an addition was added in 1946.
